WSF PRO WOMEN KICKS OFF

The World Snowboard Federation launches a new program targeting to increase female participation in Snowboarding #WSFProWomen

WSF Pro Women

WSF PRO WOMEN is an event series made for women of all ages who seek to connect with other female shredders in their local community and improve their riding skills while guided from a pro. Bringing together local female pro riders and resorts at their facilities opens up possibilities to host camps and clinics tailored to women and girls.

“We see this initiative as a significant step to highlight Women in Snowboarding, at the right time and with the right advocates.” comments the Education Committee of the WSF, who signs responsible for the project realization.

The WSF Pro Women 2015/16 preliminary calendar includes high profile hosts including legends Kjersti Buaas, Silvia Mittermueller and Chanelle Sladics, and Chinese Shred Pro Zhu Hong.

December 20 2015, World Snowboard Day: WSF Pro Women Park Session with ZHU HONG at Dolomiti Resort, China

January 9 2016, Snowboard Camp with KJERSTI BUAAS and CHANELLE SLADICS at Vassfjellet, Norway

March 25 or 26 (tbc) 2016, WSF Pro Women progression day with SILVIA MITTERMUELLER at Mayrhofen, Vans Penken Park, Austria
